Alain Vejux and Mark Rejhon is
announcing a Facebook fund-raising campaign for Sabine Gijzen.
Sabine is a skydiver from Holland who got injured on November 20th,
2011 at Skydive Deland in Florida, USA during a World Team skydive
event, and paralyzed from the accident.
She is currently recovering at a hospital at Daytona Beach. A major
expense that will not be covered by insurance is a special flight
back overseas on stretcher, expected to cost approximately $36,000.
This does not include other expected medical expenses that are
expected for rehabilitation.
Skydiving is a passion that generates
emotions, connections, and creates very strong friendships. Sabine
Gijzen needs your love, energy and friendship to recover from the
accident that happened on Sunday while skydiving and living this
passion.
Skydiving friends Mark Rejhon and Alain Vejux is now donating
$250.00 each to this campaign (initial $500 total). Donations are
appreciated, either by wire transfer or by PayPal directly to
<sabine.gijzen@gmail.com>. Both Mark and Alain also pledge an
additional $250.00 after the first milestone of $10,000 public fund
raising towards covering the medical and rehabilitation costs of
Sabine.
